About us

Locally owned. Proudly not corporate.

Cameron and Lisa Renner, owners of Fortuna Liquors and Ferndale Liquors, were born and raised in California. Cameron's family has been living and working in the Eel River Valley since the 1870s. After serving as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, he came home in 2012 to raise his family and work in Humboldt County. Lisa grew up in Ukiah and spent more than 20 years at the Mendocino Community Health Clinic.

In 2018 the couple bought Ferndale Liquors. On June 1, 2024 they bought Beverage Plus from Larry Montgomery and his family. Larry started the store in 1989 and ran it for 35 years before retiring. Today it's Fortuna Liquors.
